Kitt Maruska started her document control career in Seattle on the Alaskan Way Viaduct Project (renderings of one section of the viaduct are pictured here, before and after its demolition – courtesy of the Washington State Department of Transportation, WSDOT).
Later, Kitt transitioned to the petrochemical industry where she was responsible for the document control lifecycle for numerous Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) projects at Phillips 66 refinery in Ferndale, Washington. Now she is excited to return to the transportation industry and make a lasting impact with her extensive document control and project support expertise.
I’m super excited to pivot back into transportation – I hope to make a lasting impact at Dossier!
Joining Dossier with 20 years of experience, Kitt is well-versed in delivery and submittals on design build/construction projects, assisting project teams and engineering contractors with project requests, along with locating drawings, standards, procedures, test instructions, and equipment data.
She is also adept at Management of Change (MOC) processes, RFI and change management, version control, drafting, and project closeout activities.
What truly excites me about transportation is the opportunity to tackle complex logistical challenges. There’s a deep satisfaction in seeing plans come to fruition and contributing to seamless operations.
When Kitt isn’t geeking out over reading industry standards, she enjoys spending time researching her family genealogy, embroidering vintage linens, or walking the interurban trails near her home in Butte, Montana.
