Meet Teresa!
I began my professional career on the infamous Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Repository (aka the Yucca Mountain Project). There, I climbed the rungs of my first corporate ladder from a Clerk in the Training Department through six promotions over the next 9+ years to a Records Analyst in the Records Management Department. Once I realized that Records and Documents are the heartbeat of any organization, I was hooked. Now 36 (or so) years later, some days I feel like “I” belong in the Archives, yet here I am, fortunate to be a part of another great organization.
Mega Projects, Government, Manufacturing, Oh My!
Over the span of my career, I have worked as an employee or consultant with the Department of Energy on two separate projects, two Nuclear Power Plants, two City Governments, five Manufacturing/Distribution facilities, a Water District, a 2-Mile Long Tunnel, a Gold Mine, and two Sound Transit Projects. I have learned a lot, taught a little, and shared a few interesting stories along the way.
Documents, Divorces, and Dogs
On a personal note, I am a published Author, a Product Developer, an Entrepreneur, and a Pet Sitter. I’m also fully capable of making mistakes as I’ve been married/divorced four times, while also managing to not have any children of my own. I currently am content being single with my breathtakingly beautiful Husky/Border Collie, Skylar. With reddish/brown fur and the brightest blue eyes you can imagine, she looks like a little fox. She is the absolute love of my life.
