Meet Darlene!
Hello, I’m Darlene Pryor. After spending a successful career in public service, I decided to try retirement only to find that I wanted to stay engaged, active and with people! So I reentered the work force and since part of my previous career involved Records Management, I was a perfect fit for Document Control.
Her Impressive Project Background
Projects I have worked on: Sound Transit on the E320 East Link Extension, Tacoma Light Rail Vehicle, King County North Mercer Island Interceptor and Enatai Interceptor Upgrade, and the Sound Transit Bus Base North/System Wide Fit Up. I love my job for the diversity, wide ranging impacts and the people who make the job so rewarding!
An Appreciation of the Great Outdoors
In my personal life, I am an avid day hiker. My longest hike was 14 miles on Mt. Rainier, whew was I glad to get back to the trailhead! There’s nothing better though than sitting on the top of a mountain having a peanut butter sandwich for lunch, taking in the beautiful scenery, the peace and quiet and being one with nature. It helps me to do what I do in my daily job. And I’m always looking for the next hike that pushes me physically to be my best and takes me to that perfect serene mountain spot, to enjoy life’s most simple pleasures.
